A Guinea Hen

This morning I woke up to this weird noise and I initially thought there was an animal attacking a chicken.

Come to find out..a guinea hen has found it's way into our yard. They usually are in groups, but this is running solo. We think it is eating the left over chicken feed (which is fine)..we learned that if it is a female it will lay eggs just like the chickens..but either if it is male or female it eats bugs and ticks! So that can't be all bad




We will see how long it sticks around..
