On our way home

We had a really nice time hanging out with family for the holiday. It did all of us some good to get out of town...

But we were all ready to get back home..

Doesn't Gray look comfy!

The funny faces of Gray Thomas

The faces Gray was making this evening were too precious not to share...

Hanging outside by the fire

This afternoon we all decided we should try and spend time outside..

First the trick was to get a fire started with wet wood..it took longer than we expected. So by the time we got it started and really going, we were all cold and wanted to be inside..

But before that I snapped some photos (of course)

Gray waiting patiently for the fire to get started..

My men...

Eskimo kisses with dad..

Giving dad some love....

Our family....

Our family and Auntie Sara Jane...

Getting his own ice cube

Gray thought it was so cool that he could get his own ice cubes...he did it the whole time we were there..

You had to be careful where you stepped, in case there was a puddle from a melted ice cube

Playing outside with mom

Gray (his ball) and I went outside this morning to get some fresh air..

It was cold out..but that is alright..we had a great time...

Pumpkin cheesecake and whip cream

Gray got his first taste of pumpkin cheesecake and whip cream

He loved the cheesecake (can you blame him)

Then we put the whip cream on his fingers to lick them off..he wasn't sure about it at first..but once he realized what it tasted like..he licked it all off

What a great way to end the Thanksgiving day..

Thanksgiving dominoes

Great Grandma (my grandmother) came over for Thanksgiving dinner..and it is kind of a family thing to play dominoes after

Grandma is really good and normally people don't want to play her..

Gray was all for it..someday he will really give her a run for her money :)

Gray's first real Thanksgiving meal

Although this is Gray's 2nd Thanksgiving, this is his first real Thanksgiving meal. Last year I think he only had mashed potatoes.

Needless to say he loved all of it!

Then dad decided to put his napkin on Gray's head..not sure why..but that's Andrew for ya :)

Before dinner Gray was eating an apple.. and continued to want it during dinner..yes he is eating it right off the core, all by himself!!

And last Andrew did the spoon on the nose trick..it took a while to get a good shot..but the whole time Gray thought it was such a funny trick

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
It was a rough day for Andrew and I..but we have many things in our lives to be thankful for!

"Helping" with Thanksgiving dinner

Gray felt that he needed to help with the dinner tonight...so he "helped" dad with peeling the potatoes..

Mid-Thanksgiving morning soak

Dad, Gray and Auntie Sara Jane decided to take a mid-morning soak in the hot tub..

I wasn't sure about the temperature of the water, but it wasn't too bad..they just didn't turn the jets on..so it was alright for the little guy..

He had a great time (surprise..he always seems to)

Thanksgiving morning

Happy Thanksgiving Morning!

Gray and Grandma had some special time this morning when we got up (we were the only ones
awake)

He was chatting with her...

They shared some dried blueberries (he loved them! well let's face it he loves blueberries)

Grandpa finally got up and Gray was happy to see him

Finally to end the breakfast time..snuggle time with dad

Sitting in Grandma's Rocking Chair

My mother still has the rocking chair that she sat in when she was a little girl

She brought it up for Gray to sit in while he was visiting..

He liked it, had a hard time getting in to it..it was a little tall..but do-able..
