Boys being boys

This afternoon we went over to Avery's house for his birthday party

All the boys went outside in the yard to play.

Next thing I knew they were all trying to pile onto the electric Hummer deal to drive it around..not a good idea..







Since that didn't work Gray and Noble went for a spin with the help of cousin Gus

Tonight while we were outside and the sun was setting the colors of the trees were beautiful. I tried to capture them in these photos, but I don't think it really did them any justice

Gray decided he needed to help Speedo find his ball that kept getting thrown up on the hill by Andrew and String

Gray just loves his new motorize tractor that he got. But sometimes he gets frustrated and just wants to push it where it needs to go....a little harder than he thought it would be

We all had a busy Saturday, so we decided to spend the evening at home with friends and family and a bonfire.

Bliss, Foster, Jack & Henry are in town, so they headed over for some pizza with us. Mom and String came up tonight as well. So it was a regular old party. Good times had by all

We wish they lived closer so we could see them more often. All weekend long Gray asked when Jack and Henry were coming back

Our newest addition to the family

Well as many of you know we are expecting again, our newest bundle of joy is due April 1st. Yes an April Fools Day baby, but both myself and my doctor believe that this baby will not be born on that day, but earlier..so let's hope that is so as my niece was born this past April Fools Day and we want that day to be special to her!

Currently we are 12 weeks and 5 days along, so almost out of the first trimester. It hasn't been too bad to me, the only complaint I have is at night I get super stuffy to where I can't breath. So I have to breath with my mouth open which makes my throat super dry!

Other than that all is well.

The first ultrasound we had was at 6 weeks 4 days, it doesn't look like much, but they were able to tell me all looked normal :)


Our 12 week appointment and first trimester screening was yesterday. So we got another ultrasound

Again all looks good

Baby is measuring at 13 weeks 1 day
heartbeat is 156
2 arms, 2 legs, spine, stomach, brain, heart, etc
all tests came back normal

We tried to do a 3D to see more of this little one, but they didn't turn out so good, too early for it. But here is a great profile of our little one..



The doctor that scanned us is positive (95% sure, would put money on it) that we are having a boy due to the shot below. The expert at ultrasounds said she would go more like 80% and not to be so sure yet....so who knows! I still believe I am having all boys



Our next appointment is at 16 weeks, not normally an ultrasound appointment, we will see what happens :)

I also thought I would throw in a picture of my ever growing self. It is amazing on your third pregnancy how your body just knows to stick right out there! I have only gained 4.5 lbs in the first 3 months and I am measuring at 13 weeks, so pretty right on!

Bath Time!

It has been a while since I took some bath pictures of Gray. He is really into playing with his boats during bath, making tunnels with his body for the boats to go under, swimming, etc.. It is so easy to do bath time now, he is so self sufficient, except in the washing area :)

Monster Truck Show

This afternoon Andrew, Gray, Ben, Noble, Maija, Avery and Welles all went to the Proctor Speedway to watch the Monster Truck show

Yes for all of you that are thinking, hick-ville USA, you are correct.

It was not that cool for how expensive it was according to Andrew. But the kids had a great time and that is all that matters

Today we came home to this John Deere rider for Gray from his Uncle (Godfather) Norm

He loves it! It is a lot of fun to watch him drive it around (Or try to at least)

Kielbasa & Mac N Cheese

When we were little my dad's specialty for us was Kielbasa and Mac N Cheese. So tonight Gray got to try it for the first time (well it wasn't his first try and mac n cheese). He thought it was a big hot dog, he loved it!

So your meal lives on dad..thought you would be proud :)

Can we fix it, yes we can!

Tonight when we got home, Gray for some reason put on his safety goggles and hard hat to watch Thomas the Train



Then Gray told me I had to try them on...don't laugh too hard now :)

This morning I decided to take a quick snap shot with my boy to sport my new necklace..isn't it fabulous! It is from my dear friend Kelli. She always knows what is going to look best on me :)

Sunday party at the Breiland's

This evening our friends Doug & Michelle had a deck party, food, drinks, play time for the kids, etc

When we got there Gray was the only boy of about 7 girls :) He loved it!

First he played on the pink jeep with Sydney



Then he got to take some spins by himself..he thought this car was super cool even though it was pink :)



Then he took his buddy Lyssa for a spin. These 2 were like 2 peas in a pod..too cute!



They both love to play with rocks, not sure why..but they do. They put a ton of Doug and Michelle's landscaping rocks in the back of the jeep. Took them out and put them back in again..



This picture is a little dark, but here is Gray sandwiched in between Sydney, Lyssa and Sophi..what a ladies man :)



Other people not in the photos that were there (they were on the deck because they were too little to run with the "bigger" kids)...Lucy Lane, Grace Vartmann, Georgia Ray, Josie Meierhoff, etc..

We had a great time chatting with friends and catching up with them and their kids. We all think we need to make this more of a ritual.
