Our poor boy

Well Gray got what we think is amoxicillin rash today. He didn't have it when we left the house this morning, but he has it now!

We weren't sure what it was till we talked to Andrew's Aunt Mary and she told us all about it. We feel better, but still feel bad for the little guy.

He has red bumps sporatically all over his body, there are big clusters of them on his behind, around his ankles (these are the only ones that itch) and under his arm

They say it will go away in a few days..we hope so! This kid just can't catch a break with things..

A quiet Saturday at the lake

This weekend was a quiet weekend up at the cabin. It was just Andrew, Gray, Mona, Ken and I.

Gray did a fantastic job of entertaining himself. He played with this Little People set for a long time...it made lots of different sounds and music. The music plays as the road goes round in circles, Gray always seemed to lean on the road so it made it sound like a dying horse instead of music..but Gray still danced anyway :)

By the end of the day I was whistling the music without even realizing it

Swiming in the lake

When we got to the cabin it was still so nice out we couldn't pass up the opportunity to go swimming..

Man was the water nice!

Dad and Gray (at first he wasn't digging the life vest, but I can't say I blame him)

Mom in the water (haven't been swimming in the lake in 2 years!)

Gray in a new floaty - he enjoyed this much more than the other one

Reflections

Tonight Gray was playing in his play room and his reflection was so clear in the window I had to take some pictures (please excuse the dirty windows)

This one looks like he is playing next to his twin...weird

What a darling little chair

When we all got home today there was a gift from Pottern Barn Kids for Gray Thomas Knutson.

We opened it up and it was a darling little chair that looks like a cow..

Thank you Auntie Bliss, Uncle Foster and cousin Jack, Henry, Carter and Hunter!

Gray's newest toy from Grandma and Grandpa

Since Grandma and Grandpa Baldwin were not able to make it to Gray's birthday party..they brought their present with them this past weekend..

Gray loves putting the little people animals down the shoot, opening the door, taking them out and putting them back down the shoot...

We did this over and over and over again...he seemed to like to put the goat down the shoot the most for some reasons..

Sometimes you wonder what goes through their minds

As night fell we were all having too good of a time to head home..
Some of us had a better time than others :)

The parents (String and Kate) and Jen...

Jason, Derek and Andrew...this is much later in the night if you were wondering...the Guiness and Jamison had been flowing for a while!

Another outcome of Guiness and Jamison...

String and Jerome in an intense conversation...(no one has a clue what they were talking about!)

I thought this was a cool shot of the fire we were all sitting around..

Andrew sandwiched in between all the black men at the party :)
One of these kids is doing there own thing..he he he

The last photo of my husband before he passed out...needless to say he doesn't remember any of these late night photos being taken..

All it all it was a great weekend of fun and family!

Family BBQ

After the marathon (and a cocktail down at the canal) we all headed back to our house for a BBQ..

What a GREAT day out for eating, drinking and having a good time..

Gray hanging out with Grandma

Gray and Speedo in the pool...notice Gray has all of his clothes on. He didn't want to go in when Grandma dipped his toes in, but once he was dressed with shoes on, in he went!

Nephew Henry eating dinner..look at those curls!

Nephew Jack MCing...

Part of the croud hanging out in the back yard..

Auntie Sara Jane and Gray..just chillin...

Then before we all did too much drinking..the parents wanted a family photo..

Gray off to bed in his new pajames from Grandpa and Nana Wyss
There is much more partying to come in the next posting...

Sara Jane's Marathon finish

We all headed down to the canal around 11am to see Sara Jane finish the race. We were supposed to get text messages to our phones to tell us where she was at, but they didn't work (except for Jason they did work)..so we followed her online.

Unfortunately Gray just wasn't up for it and we all thought it would be better for him to stay home, so Andrew stayed home with him and also got more things ready for the party..

Here is the big finish!

this is the time that they actually called Sara's name over the loud speaker..however, her acutal time was 4 hours and 47 minutes. (the difference has to do with the start times)

She looks pretty darn good after running 26.2 miles!

Sara beat her NY marathon time by 2 minutes and her previous Grandma's marathon time by quite a few...

It was so hot outside, we all don't know how she did it. It was in the 80s and HUMID!

Yeah for Sara, we are all so proud of you!!

Beautiful flowers in my backyard

This morning my mother (I joined her part way through) went outside and took some pictures of our hill in the backyard that is filled with Lupines..
