Rock-A-Bye-Baby

We brought some baby stuff up stairs to storage, so we had room in our living room..so why not bring something else down :)

So we brought Gray's rocking chair down stairs

He wanted to rock his brother..

You have to turn up your volume really loud to hear his version of rock a bye baby..

My darling Gray

Gray put on his dad's hat today and I snapped a picture

Then he told me to take 3 more..

Strong tummy muscles

So Mylo does this deal where he sits up straight..then lifts his legs straight off the ground and wiggles his feet. And he does it for a long time without stopping!

Now that is some strong tummy muscles!

I tried to capture it here

Then he puts his feet down and looks at us like, what, it's no big deal

It doesn't sound hard, but sit down on the ground with your back straight and your legs straight out in front of you. Now lift your feet off the ground, hold them there, then start to turn then around in circles and wiggle them, then keep holding them up for a while..then tell me how your stomach muscles fell..yowzer!

Mylo playing with Grandma

Tonight Mylo and Grandma had a great time playing on the floor together..

I LOVE this one..giving Grandma a great big smooch!

Jordan's final football game

This afternoon we all headed to PSS (Public School Stadium) for Jordan's final football game of the season.

I hadn't been at that field since I was watching my high school team play there..man did I feel old!

We got there and it wasn't pretty for the Hunters (Jordan's team)..notice the score board, the Hunters score is on the left..

So Gray got a pom-pom and practiced some cheering to see if that would help :)

I tried to get shots of Jordan, but it wasn't the easiest thing. So if you see number 69 in any of these photos that is Jordan (on the maroon and gold team)

Mylo enjoying the football game..glad he is sleeping because I think he might freak out with the noise..

Gray with a yellow frosting face thanks to Auntie Jenny who was so nice and bought him a cupcake :)

Mylo woke up part way through the game, and I was right...whenever people would cheer or yell, Mylo freaked out! It only took about 5 tries before he held it together..oh and I had to be holding him too...

Gray spent most of the game hanging out with Auntie Jenny cheering on the boys

The Hunters came back, but not enough to win. In the end the score was 30-60..this was their first loss of the season :(

Oh well..they had a great run and we all had a nice time watching the game.

Oh and I forgot to mention, what a beautiful October day it was too!

Uh-oh another train boy?

Gray was playing with his trains this morning and man Mylo was all about that!

Could we have another train lover??

Our pumpkins

So we probably carved our pumpkins a little too early as they are already moldy..so I wanted to get pictures of them in case they didn't make it to Halloween...

No the big one is not real :)

Congdon Creek Pre-School Halloween Carnival

Well we got to the carnival and who to our surprise came in right behind us...but Gray's buddy Lyssa!

I think she is happy to see him :)

Gray wasn't 100% sure about the carnival at first..it took a little for him to warm up to the idea..

But once he did, he was off the races doing most of the games/activities..

Here he is getting for a balloon sword

bouncing in the bounce house

If you stuck your hand in Frankenstein's mouth you got a prize...Gray wasn't so sure about that so Andrew had to do this one :)

Gray's picture on the wall of the school :} Proud mommy moment!

Mylo being a scarecrow..this is one of the things that Gray wouldn't do for us..

Gray throwing a ball to knock down some bottles that had ghosts glued to them

Our family photo in the cemetery..

Lyssa after a long fun evening at the carnival was just too hot to keep her top on..too funny!

All in all we had a great time, we are glad we went at the beginning because by the time we were leaving it was PACKED and so crazy!

Let the Halloween weekend begin!
