Oh how I love them!!!

Snow Day Fun!

We had a snow day today..or maybe it was more of a wind day. It snowed today (8+ inches)..however, it was the wind that really made it nasty out there. We had some gusts that shook our whole house..

Anyway, the boys got crazy this afternoon..they had a BLAST playing together, jumping and climbing on the cushions, pillows, etc...

Fun for me to see as the mother :)

Whacky Hair Day for Gray

Today was whacky hair and backwards day at Gray's school..

I got Gray's hair to be standing up all over before he went to school...but he came home looking like this..

Gotta love it! Actually it was pretty cool (and not too difficult to get out)

Laundry basket fun

While I was folding some laundry this morning Gray and Mylo thought it would be great fun to play in the baskets...

What a fun activity for a snowy Sunday :)

Gray decided he wanted to help feed Mylo tonight...I thought that was a great idea!

Oh and Grandma and Grandpa are in town this weekend as well..so she was nice enough to help Gray feed Mylo :)

Congdon Creek Pre-School Valentine Tea Party

Gray's school had a Valentine Tea Party this morning for all the parents/grandparents

The morning started out with the kiddos singing some songs (videos as well)

They warmed up with the ABCs
Then they sang songs with vegetables in it...carrot, beet, pear and lettuce (super cute idea)
Then skid-a-marink-ca-dink - I love you
Then I love you, You love me
Last was I'm going to mail myself to you

Gray is hard to see but he is in the middle hiding behind one of the boys in the navy shirt

After the singing, each kid got a little map of activities to do with their parents. One of the activities involved finding the other half to your heart (there was only one match for each heart piece)..wouldn't you know it, but Lyssa Breiland's half matched with Gray's..too cute

another thing to do was read a book in the "big room" here is Lyssa with her parents doing that

Then you get to decorate a cookie

And then eat that cookie of course :)

Next take a picture in the kissing booth....most kids just had their parents give them a kiss on the check..not Gray, he wanted a kiss right on the old lips from mom :)

One of the last activities was to make a beaded something with pipe cleaners

Gray got a bracelet and a necklace (thanks to dad)

An option was also to get your face painted by Miss Patty (this is Gray's teacher)

After all the activities, we had a snack and sat down and chatted with other parents and kiddos.

It was a great little program. The kids had fun, us parents had a great time too!
