Do you like my hat

Gray playing with Dad's hat during dinner..

Out with the old and in with the new

So we had to say goodbye to our lovely Highlander today and get ready for our growing family with a mini van.

The Highlander was a great car for us and we will sure miss it..but it just isn't realistic for us with 3 kids..

Bye bye old friend :(

But now we are the proud owners of a 2008 Toyota Sienna..it rides like the Highlander and is really nice..we are happy with our swap :)

Grocer, Builder..who knows

So Gray loves to play in the pantry and his newest thing is stacking cans..

Not sure how much we love this idea, considering it would REALLY hurt if it fell on his toe. So we are thinking we need to either get him A. some play cans or B. some building blocks.

He is really good at stacking them and making them stay..he did this tower all by himself. I am holding on to him because he wanted to take it apart before we could take the photo..

Loves the race car

Tonight we went to Ben and Sarah's for dinner and we discovered that they had the little people race car toy that Gray LOVES to play with at daycare. He had it in his hand every second we were there and of course we couldn't leave with out.

Heck we couldn't even go to bed with out it..

By the time I was able to take the picture, his grip had loosened on it a bit..
Too funny....

Hanging out in my rocking chair

I was trying to get a few things done today, so I thought I would put a movie on and see if Gray would actually watch it.

He got into his rocking chair and was ready for the movie to start..

But that only lasted for maybe 30 seconds, then he was off to play with his toys. I guess he isn't into watching tv yet..which isn't a bad thing :)

Gracie Vartmann

Today I had the pleasure of meeting Gracie Vartmann. I was able to go see Stacey in the hospital before she went home with her darling daughter...daddy was at home getting the house ready for their new arrival :)

Both Stacey and Gracie were doing great. She is a laid back little girl..she slept the whole time I was there. I can't quite figure out who she looks more like. According to Stacey she has Andy's chin and feet ;)

Yes we are expecting twins

As everyone knows Andrew and I are expecting twins this coming April...of course when we first found out about it we were EXTREMELY shocked..

But the shock is starting to wear off and we are getting used to the idea and liking it :)

Here are some shots of the 2 little ones..

Here is the shot of my ever growing belly..at least I now know why my belly was getting so big so fast!

Oh and just to put it in perspective we are 10 1/2 weeks along

And last but not least..here is Andrew's muscles..he thought you might all want to see them

What a fun filled Saturday

We had a fun filled busy Saturday today..

It started off with Andrew stuffing a pillow into Gray's pajamas and then when he took it out, Gray wanted it put back in...He looked like the state puff marshmallow man, it was cute

Next I went to some rummage sales with my sister while Andrew and Gray hung out.

I found a great little rocking chair and he seemed to really like it..

When I got back Gray was up for his nap and ready to take on the day. So I decided to head to the park with him..

He had a blast!!

We had to go down all the slides and he went head first almost every time

It was a busy tiring day..but a ton of fun!

He tried really hard to get them on by himself..he thought it was a fun game

Our little Vikings Fan

Well since today was the first Vikings game of the season, we busted out the Vikings shirt....

Next we need to teach him the Vikings cheer :)

Giggle Monster Ball

Gray got a giggling Cookie monster/elmo ball from my mother for Christmas. He has played with it in the past, but just because we made it giggle for him. This morning was the first time he did it himself and he thought it was great!

Here he is sitting down for the first time with the ball

He is pushing the mouth to make it go

And he giggled right along with the ball..

Mom and Gray day

Andrew is fishing today, so it is just Gray and I

We spent the morning running all over the house making a mess :)

Then after nap time we went to watch Gray's cousin Jordan play some tackle football.

Gray enjoying the game and some grapes

And some action shots - Jordan is number 18 (the quarterback)
Getting ready for a hike

And a pass!

We left at half time to go do some errands, but when we left they were down by 1 touchdown...

Next stop Target for some essentials

Gray helped me carry out the stuff by grabbing the ground cinnamon bottle for me

Now it is afternoon nap time..wonder what the evening will bring us...

Just went up to check on Gray who is supposed to be napping. Instead I walk into his room and he has thrown everything out of his crib and had taken his diaper off and thrown that out too..there he was butt naked staring at me from his crib..it was really hard not to laugh

So Gray didn't nap at all, so I thought a nice walk might put him to sleep

I even let him bring along his favorite stuffed animal

An hour long walk later and still no sleep for Mr. Gray

So, we will go home, play a little, have dinner, bath and to bed...

P.S. It is 7:25pm and he is already sacked out for the night!
