Enthralled with Elmo

Tonight before Gray hit the hay..we watched a little Elmo.

Gray loves the video called "Let's Make Music" it is Stomp on Sesame Street..it is actually the only video or TV that Gray will actually sit and watch. He loves to learn the character and he is so excited with Elmo comes on the screen. Whenever he leaves the screen..Gray always says "where did he go?" Too funny

Of course being me..I couldn't help but take cute pictures of my little man

Eating a popsicle with Grandpa

Gray LOVES popsicles..

So today we gave him one early in the day (rather than after dinner)..but he had to sit and eat it..so he say in Grandpa String's lap

Watching the boys play WII...

Gray was watching the guys play the WII today..he just seemed to focused on it...

I just hope he doesn't get addicted to it..guess we will just have to do some strict moderating on it

Sophia Orman came over today to play with Gray..

So Gray loves to bounce his bouncy balls on the kitchen floor..let me tell ya, I sure love this game...especially the clean up part :)

Tonight Grandma and Gray bonded with some book reading time..

They both really loved it..

Meeting Borat

Not sure how you spell Borat...but we got to meet him tonight. That is Jordan's hamster..he brought him over..

Gray called it his kitty..which was hysterical.

When they put him in the ball thing that he runs around in, Gray picked it up and shook it..then he put it on the floor and booted it across the floor..totally hysterical! The hamster didn't think it was too funny..

Speedo thought it would be a great little treat...he followed it around constantly, liked the ball it rolled around in and just stared at the cage

Now we know we will never get a rodent at our house!

And now it is out of the ball and Speedo wants to just eat it..poor rodent (I think) it must have been having a heart attack at this time...

Happy Birthday Kelli!

Today Kelli turns the big 33!

Gray decided it was time he started coloring and what better thing to start on but a picture for Kelli..

Yeah for the new ball pitt (pool)

Today Andrew went out and looked for a new ball pitt for Gray. Unfortunately they didn't have the car left and the only "ball pitt" that was left was one that also had a trampoline type deal with it. It just didn't seem too safe, he already launches himself into the ball pitt, we don't need anything to help him launch further :)

So instead he got him a blow up pool and another 100 balls to add to the pitt..

Gray was so excited, we played in it all night long!












I was able to shoot some video of the boy in action...

Overall it was a great night of fun

Goofing around

Tonight Gray was just being Gray and we were having a great time

First it was time to play with the light switch. We thought he out grew this, but apparently not..




Next up, time to turn the TV on and off and switch the channels. He loves to do this and once he does this he thinks he is so funny!





And then, here he is after he got himself off the couch....just a cute picture I had to put in

And the ball pitt is dead

At first we just thought we might have popped a seam on one side..but tonight when Gray and I were playing in the ball pitt, we blew a hole in it..

Buh bye ball pitt...



We will for sure have to go out and buy a new one..this was one of Gray's favorite toys..

Grilling with dad

Tonight we had pork on the grill...Gray insisted on going out with Andrew every time he went for the grill..



Not only did he have to go out each time..so did Speedo..

Big blue

Gray has the biggest blue eyes..which I know we all know :)
Today he had on all shades of blue that really brought out the color..





After Andrew and I looked at these pictures, we realized just how much older Gray is starting to look...crazy!

Beautiful sunrise

Andrew had to be at the airport bright and early so we were up before the sun..

However, that did give us the opportunity to see the wonderful sunrise...

Then Gray wanted to smile for the camera..I couldn't say no to this face :)

Playing outside on this warm Saturday in January

Today was a beautiful day! So we decided to spend some time outside in the backyard. Beth (Gray's daycare lady) mentioned that Gray really likes to just climb up and down the snowbanks in the back yard. So we figured we could do that at home too


There were a lot of fun pictures..so this post is a little long..

Gray thought it was great up on the top of the hill..he got to see the whole yard and that was cool. He wanted to keep walking back in the trees

I was trying to get him to do a snow angel..didn't really work..he just crawled around in the one I made

He ventured into the garden..

He was trying really hard to shut the gate..but of course there was too much snow to get it shut..

He was pushing really hard to get that gate shut :)

After not being able to get the gate shut, he was ready to go back inside..
