Preparing for the big party

Gray's 1st birthday party is this afternoon. So we had lots of preparing to do. Thank goodness Jen and Jordan came over last night to help with some things (blowing up balloons and stuffing the pinata)

We didn't do too many..but we wanted to at least have a few..

Happy birthday balloons out on the mailbox...not sure if this was a good idea or not. We had a ton of people slowing down looking for the rummage sale..

The backyard..we had plans to have a nice fire and the kids could play in the sand box

Andrew put up a fence so the kids couldn't go into the front of the yard..

Our theme was a construction them of course! So we got a few fun decorations

candles up close..they are little construction trucks :)

And the FABULOUS cake! This was a hit with all the kids..
